Pont du Gard

UNESCO world heritage site. Roman three-level aqueduct bridge from the 1st century that was part of the aqueduct that took water over 31 miles from Uzès to Nîmes (Nemausus in Roman times). The Pont du Gard is the bridge across the Gardon river that is part of this system. The three tiers of arches are about 160 ft high. More info at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pont_du_Gard.
